Where are your safes made?

We use local metal fabricators in Illinois. We utilize Ballistic Glass that is cut to our specifications in Illinois. The remaining pieces and parts are sourced from a variety of manufacturers and we do our best to find made in the USA sub-components. Final assembly takes place in our facility in Naperville IL USA.

What kind of lock do you use?

We use a high quality cam lock and hardened key locks that would be very difficult to pick. We used an expert locksmith and safe cracker to select the locks we sell.

How secure are your safes?

We attempt to strike a balance between display-ability, cost and security. Importantly there are many security features in our product that enhance security. Our Secure Display Safes are made with 14-gauge steel, ½” ballistic glass, and extremely strong locks in conjunction with other security design features that will protect your collectible. Secure Display is a very solid safe.  Contact us as we can go into more detail whenever you wish.

Is red velvet the only color for background display?

Many of our customers want different colors, materials or patterns to showcase their prized collectibles. Our standard product comes with an off-white panel.We have enhanced the Secure Display Safes to literally have any color.In stock we keep red, blue, and green velvet.Plus we can vinyl wrap our panels with any color.We have even had customers send us leather and patterns that they wanted.Other customers have opted to upload an image which we can print and place on the metal panel.

What type of power source is used for the lights?

Secure Display utilizes a 12v 5 Amp power source to the LED lights that comes with a remote controller allowing you to turn up and down the level of brightness and allows for modulation or strobe effect at varying speeds.

How do you change the frame to the Gun Safe option?

The frame is attached with four industrial strength velcro tabs and allows for easy replacement to a custom frame.  Some of our customers actually like the no frame just showing the black powder coating of the metal. 

Do you have wooden frames?

Yes, optionally a composite wooden frame can be purchased for the Small Display Safe and it is attached with four industrial strength velcro tabs and allows for easy removal or replacement to a custom frame. Many of our customers like the no frame approach just showing the black powder coating of the metal.

Is there High-Tech Alarming / Notifications?

Secure Display offers an optional high-tech WIFI enabled alarm module that will alert you via a phone app in the event the door is opened, the safe is shaken, heat and humidity exceed pre-set levels and connects to the power so it is always on. 

What is the safe frame made of?

The frame is made of a wood composite.

What are the dimensions for the Small Secure Display?

The outer dimensions of the Small Secure Display Safe are: 20.5” x 16” x 4.5”. The viewing window is 16 L” x 12” x 3” depth.

What are the dimensions for the Large Secure Display Safe?

The outer dimensions of the Large Secure Display Safe are 52” x 25” x 6” and the viewing window is: 47” L x 20” H x 4” depth.

How much does the safe weigh?

The weight of the Small Secure Display is under 42 lbs. The Large Secure Display Safe is approximately 105 lbs.

How does the collectibles appear to float?

We use very powerful rare earth magnets with minimal viewable footprint to ideally make your collectible standout and look like it is floating whether you purchase our pegs, go-magnets, shelves, holders, etc.  Another added advantage is that you can move the magnets at any time to re-arrange your collectibles as time goes by. Extra magnets are available to order.

Do your products have guarantees?

Secure Display has a money back guarantee. If after you receive the Secure Display and for whatever reason you do not like it; just call or email us within 30 days of delivery and you can return for a full refund. We want happy and satisfied customers.
